doug_gentry 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Really nice shot Doug! I enjoy the converging lines and your black and white choice is a good one! Regards, Dg. Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted April 14, 2008 Being a converted country boy, I try to avoid places like this. I imagine you lying on your back in the middle of the intersection while taxis whiz by. I've never seen a shot like this with so many buildings: that plus the excellent B&W make this a real stand out. (Was that a pun?) I like it, Doug. Link to comment

dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted April 14, 2008 Thanks, Mary. That's the look I was going for, so I'm glad it worked. Link to comment
jbm 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Maybe try this at night with a tripod when there is low lying fog...a la Ernst Haas? Lovely shot. Cheers, Jay Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Thanks a lot, Jay. A night shot could be cool, especially on a foggy/cloudy night, because they light up the top of the Hancock Tower in a bright color every night. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Thanks, Shawn. I liked that too. I have taken a couple of similar photos where the sky formed a perfect X, and I liked that this made a different sort of pattern. Link to comment
steve b 0 Posted April 16, 2008 Interesting. I never thought about the pattern of the sky between the buildings. Good job. Link to comment
ewartphotography 0 Posted April 21, 2008 Doug,..I like this photo very much in the way it appears endless with the antenna in view on top of the Sears Tower. I went up to the top of it with my Dad in the early 70's just after construction was finished. Very good work...Regards..John Link to comment
