jhaugs 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Taken for a hair dressing project, supposed to be a stuart from the 50-60s. Thank you for all critiques and ratings!! Mvh Jeanette Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 18, 2008 I might have included a bit more of the 'bun' of the hair. This crop throws the balance and the eyes tend to focus on the guy's chin rather than the hair. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted April 18, 2008 I have to disagree with my dear Friend David, despite his talent. I think the crop here is excellent. I think you had to whack a bit of the bun to achieve the balance with the crop of the man's face. I frankly think your composition is wonderful. I have to wonder how it might have looked with her face in the sharp focus you have it in and his face somewhat out of focus. You might play with gausian blur tool in PS and see how it looks. In any event I think you did a hell of a job. -Owen Link to comment
