Karen, This is an awesome photo but what would put it over the top would be to simplify it a bit more. I would try to get on the other side of that foreground log. Less in this case is better. Whether you can wade out there, I don't know, but it would definitely be worth it. I have sometimes returned to a shot I had previously taken several times to shoot it again. Great Job! Dean

If I could return to this spot, oh how fabulous. Maybe in a year. The location required a boat crossing in the dark through marsh and a truck drive, all in all an additional hour to get to location (after highway driving) for sunrise. I shot like crazy and the simplification might be impossible since there are so many dead tree snags. Not to mention waves on my tripod mounted with a Nikon D3 as I ran back and forth. Crazy!!Next time I will be more organized knowing the possiblities first hand. And thanks for kind comments.
