katzpjs 50 Posted April 13, 2008 With some butter and a little maple syrup this will taste real good. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted April 14, 2008 I had the same idea, I thought - another failed cake thrown into the swimming pool. (I was not the baker!) great and funny (at least for me) cheers Jana Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 14, 2008 I'm seeing the bottom of pottery. Interesting composition, Mark. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted April 15, 2008 Thanks for your comments. I'm feeling a little guilty. What you see is a cropped and extreme HDR rendition of the dregs of a cup of coffee. I'll show you the original. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Don't feel guilty - half the fun of abstracts are trying to figure out what the heck they are! :) Link to comment
mg 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Gee ! You just made me feel smart ! :-)) It so happens that I drink coffee all day long for years, so I couldn't miss this one...:-) That said, I think the composition and colors are just great and this is probably the best picture in your new uploads folder. What I'm not sure of is : how large could you print this, since it's a crop and doesn't seem to be extremy sharp, or is it...? If it isn't, reshoot it as you framed it here. Well worth the effort imo. Best regards, and thanks a lot for your very detailed comment. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Thanks for the feedback. I could probably go 8 x 10 on a print. This isn't really a severe crop; the shot was taken with a macro lens, processed as HDR, and then Photoshopped beyond recognition. As for sharpness; that's the bane of my existence. I either need a better camera and lenses or my training and skill. Link to comment
