timkeller 0 Posted April 12, 2008 What a fascinating abstraction! Color tones are soft and nice, a variety of grays, but it's the play of reflections bending on the smooth and seemingly unseen water surface that mesmerize--particularly the white curves between the slats, which are effective even in the thumbnail view. Great find, well seen. Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Such a creative abstract! I had to do a double take to be sure I know what I thought I saw! Nice work! Link to comment
syalphotography 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Great eye for this image, my friend, Joaquim!! Warm regards, Rakesh. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted April 13, 2008 I cracked the code. It's Aramaic. Can't tell you what it says though, or I'd have to kill you. Great abstract! Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted April 13, 2008 David, be very careful now that you know the code. It's Aramaic yes, but with northern accent, very different from the actual Mel Gibson school with australian accent. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted April 13, 2008 And I thought that I was the only person who photographed water reflections of overhead walkways... I don't feel alone anymore. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted April 13, 2008 very very good sir. My hat's off to you. Those tones are very appealing, even to someone who has a preference for strong b&w contrasts Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted April 14, 2008 I knew right away what it was...I have spent many hours looking at reflections as these...In my opinion...you have captured it very well...I too appreciate the tones you have produced here....Great abstract...Juan Link to comment
Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted April 17, 2008 Very nice. Would like it even more if you would crop the right side last barcode out and little from the bottom, where the lightest wave goes. Would look more simple but that is only my opinion. This "sepia" treatment works fine with these water shots. Link to comment
