Not only what you captured here, and when you did it, but the whole composition is perfect : almost like both birds were offering you a specific choregraphy.

Actually i think it may have been a good idea you coulldn;t use the flash : The light was still good enough to give you all the details needed and the softness of the highlights is probably a very good contrast to the whole extrem dynamics of the movements. A flash may also have "killed" the contrast of the very bright eyes which is the most important opint of focus in this complex composition.

It may also have scared the birds perhaps.

I take it back, I didn't see the whole group of them, I like this one best. Good one!

This one as well Lex, I like the timing, composition and the title ....with the black colors problem, there are still enough light for details on both ,and again a good shallow DOF( and its color) that accentuates well the

Kung Fu.....
