An alchemistic approach. I love it dear Joseph.

At first glance I see the illustration for a book cover. I just re-read THE EIGHT, by Katherine Neville recently. Not a perfect fit for this image but in the area. Since I am apparently unable to move beyond what I "see" in the camera, I am in awe of you and your ability to take the pieces and build something new. Bravo.

It is actually very similar to the tutorial version that my good friendDarren Jonessteered me towards. I just tweaked the lesson a bit to add in my own flavor. I'm hoping to apply this type of effect to something more unique in the future. I appreciate your thoughts.
