cphilpott 0 Posted April 11, 2008 At first glance I see the illustration for a book cover. I just re-read THE EIGHT, by Katherine Neville recently. Not a perfect fit for this image but in the area. Since I am apparently unable to move beyond what I "see" in the camera, I am in awe of you and your ability to take the pieces and build something new. Bravo. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted April 11, 2008 Magical mystic that seems to come right out of a movie or book illustration. Reminds me of Harry Potter stories. Link to comment

joe-tury 0 Posted April 12, 2008 Joseph: Thank you my friend.Chris: I like the Gandalf comparison. Thanks amigo!vamsi:These Black Sabbath titles just keep popping in my head. Who knows which one I'll use next! The BG image is a brush I found atObsidian Dawn. She is a great brush maker! ThanksMehmet: Thank you my friend.Spencer: I Appreciate that!Craig: Thanks a lot. You are giving me too much credit on this one ,though. It is an exercise from "photoshop creative magazine." The man is a friend of mine from work. It is actually very similar to the tutorial version that my good friendDarren Jonessteered me towards. I just tweaked the lesson a bit to add in my own flavor. I'm hoping to apply this type of effect to something more unique in the future. I appreciate your thoughts.Jim: Thanks!Cherlyn: I originally thought about having Hogwarts in the title, but quickly scrapped that idea for something more generic. Thanks for looking!Jose: Thanks. Looking forward to more of your work.Vassilis: Thank you !Roger: Wizardry and Alchemy it is. I'm still fascinated by fantasy images. Your thoughts are very appreciated. Link to comment
