Perfect execution to get the shadow centered in the frame.It really sucks you right into the image.The texture on the ground really adds to this photo as well as the trees in the background.Very nicely done!

Strong dark/light composition

I like the way the shadow is straight (and nicely angled to the lower corners of the frame), and not the typical inverted mirror of the subject. Perfect exposure levels on the dried earth in and out of the shadow. Plus the other trees in the background are nicely exposed in front of the dark hillside. Great job.

This composition as well as your editing / technique is overwhelming! A unique image, a precious stone, a visual delight. I'm delighted by an absolutely stunning work.
