Absolutely stunning portrait. I am taking a little time today to try and tell people how important it is for all PN members to critique and rate their fellow PNer's work. When I first started with PN our group was so involved, and yes it stirred up much debate, but all of us learned so much from each other. This site has the potential for turning amateurs into professionals if people use it to their advantage, but you won't get anything out of it, if you just submit and never critique other peoples work. You might not feel you are qualified to critique, and that is the biggest lie we tell ourselves. People make photos not for other artists but for the general public. I bet you know what you like and you don't like, and making yourself think about why you like a photograph and why you don't will make you think of those things as you are shooting your next shot. I am challenging people to rate and critique for thirty minutes the general category everytime they submit a photograph to be critiqued, don't be afraid to become a better photographer.

I am more of a Nature guy, but this is stunning. Photographs like these make me want to try my hand at this. 7/7

This makeup is more suitable for a less intense (lighting wise) image. The blacks are just piercing.
