Hey Jim,

Thanks for your comment! I took this with my Canon Powershot G7 and the WP-DC11 underwater housing unit. I took this while snorkeling at Akumal Beach, in the Mayan Riviera Mexico on my honeymoon. I swam with those turtles for about an hour each morning (before the snorkel tour boats came) We were really fortunate at our resort to have such amazing snorkeling and a chance to swim with sea turtles without having to pay for expensive tours! I am already planning my trip back, well in my mind anyways..lol. Check out the rest of my Mexico photos if you have not already, I have another turtle in there. :)

You are so lucky to have gone to Hawaii, It's on my list of destinations for sure!

Cheers!

Julie

Julie; Your portfolio is FANTASTIC. The one you have taken underwater makes a person realize there is another world there. I hope you get back to where you spent your Honeymoon so you can capture more of the life there. Your Bio reads like you were started at an early age with your endevors. Congratulations. Hope to see more soon. DonM

This is really nice. Underwater photography isn't exactly easy, but that didn't see to limit you in anyway. Wonderfull.

Again this is an awesome photo....what resort was it that you stayed at In? I have travelled to numerous places in Mexico and the Caribbean but not the Mayan Riveria? If there is a chance to swim with these turtles in the wild, I would love the opportunity to try it....

Gorgeous shot! I am going to have to add this destination to my list of places to visit! You were indeed fortunate to swim with these lovely creatures. You did a great job with underwater photography. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)
