Intimate. Interesting crop, shutting out the viewer from what looks like a more private room. Are the crosses for display or protection? I particularly like the white one on the top middle.

Magical work here, David. The crosses so frame the penitant and sets such a wonderful mood. Takes me back to my childhood in the small village of Alayi, Nigeria, where so many villagers, with little to call their own in this world, and so much toil and hardship, STILL have so much faith and so much purity. It makes me believe in humans despite everything I have experienced.

David, very interesting way of presenting Jesuss and the cross, and interesting composition in general, it is hard to know if the woman is in the room or out looking at the crosses... enigmatic and well observed.

An absolute masterpiece. What a great way of simultaneously communicating being surrounded and crushed by faith. And the meditative figure framed at the bottom is perfect.

David, a stark and powerful image. Including the worshipper at the bottom makes a superb composition. Also great lighting.
