I've been wanting to do a good series of somewhat abstract architecture shots of the new(ish) Museum of the American Indian. It's a gorgeous building, but difficult to shoot on a sunny day (which happens with great frequency in DC). But when I was there a couple of weeks ago it was overcast, so I shot a LOT of images...

Of course I am always happy with critiques on individual images, but for this series, I am uploading a whole bunch of shots and would love for some comparative critiques as well. Comments on color balance, color vs. black & white, composition, perspective, etc. comparing the images will be most valuable to me.

These two images of the fountains are the last from this series. But I would like to get back there some evening (or early morning) with a tripod and try to shoot some of the fountains with long exposures.

Another note: I shot this handheld! I was SO excited with the IS capability of this lens. My hands shake so badly. I haven't been able to shoot much slower than 1/100" handheld. But I pushed this lens up to f/36 and 1/13" and am VERY happy with the clarity of detail in these shots!

Thank you so much for your support of the other images in this series. I am enjoying the feedback that you are giving me. :-)
