Cold colors

Your use of Edgerton's technique stopped me and then I noticed your title "Cold Colors." I am researching color with a mind to writing a book and one of the things I have discovered is that there is an inconsistency in the use of that term. The magenta at the base of your image is classified as a warm color by many artists and color experts.

This is one of my favorites... Well composed and the color contrast really gives a sense of depth - almost 3D. Finally, my imaginative side can't help but see a little tentacled green alien perched upon a pedestal. Cheers, Jerry
