benlundberg 0 Posted April 4, 2008 first i want to say your photography is amazing... i'm interested in glamour/fashion so viewing your pics is a good inspiration... i actually just recently got a decent slr so my xperience is kind of limited... having said that i'll just point out what i notice as a casual viewer... i really like the narrow range of colors the b/g has since it compliments the models look... i looked at both pics and so i'll give feed back concerning both... -the shadow on the ground seems a little disproportionate to the closeness of the models foot to the ground... i think the foot shadow looks better on the other pic with her higher in the air -i think the model being framed up higher with the white shirt against the dark b/g looks better on the other pic, but having the head cut off looks too wierd -with the fingers on both you can see a little white inbetween her pinky and ring finger, but it is more evident on the other pic than this one -it's good side-lighting on the model but maybe a second light source on her right would be good since it's a little dark on her right... if you're looking for an opinion of one over the other i'd say go with this one, and shrink the foot shadow donwn a bit... again this is just all observations for a really new person, so i may be a bit off :) you have a great eye for matching b/g's and models and a great stylized and artistic look to your photos... well hope this helps a bit -ben Link to comment
andipopescustudio 0 Posted April 7, 2008 Well Justin.. this one is better... though her leg still looks a bit weird from the same point of view. I wouldn't amend the shadow on the ground... its like that because of the position of the light source. It's a very strong image especially because of the muscular body and the ferm hand position. Overall... I like it a lot better than the previous. Andi. ;) Link to comment
