mark_q 0 Posted April 2, 2008 Greetings from Budapest! I'm viewing this on a laptop that doest stretch the images and is poor in color rendering, but still this photo surely is most promising and very welcome addition to your portfolio. Next week I'll evaluate this properly while back home... What I can say now is; this must be a prime text book example of the ideal time of the day to capture unique scenes. All too often we see "night photos" that are taken all too late with too much blackness in them. Back in 80s I had ambitious plans to capture mixed light by double exposures, done with my 4x5" field camera. Those ideas would have required visit in the South, where the weather is more stable and the dusk/dawn times much shorter. My plans never got realization... one can build up such things in one's mind with imagination. I really wish you would made a series of this kind of mixed light scenes because I think this is quite unique. You manage only one photo during a day, but it would be worth it - I believe. I wish you good luck if you decide to do so... Link to comment

dirk_juergensen 0 Posted April 16, 2008 Very attractive light and colours in this one. The palm tree is a an interesting contrast to the geometrically shapes of the houses.Great work, Jose Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 7, 2008 There is somthing very much alive of the mixed light on the houses .It is a bit blue and a bit orange, and has some softness . I like the texture and the patina of many years, Well composed and exposed , it looks like a beautiful bunch...;-)) Link to comment
