jeffl7 0 Posted April 8, 2008 These women almost remind me of glistening mermaids. Another Vegas shot? I'm glad what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted April 9, 2008 I didn't see mermaids in this before your comment, I can see them now. This was taken here in Riverside Park in Kamloops. A group of young moms do this to keep in shape and have fun. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 22, 2008 Great blue, great motion, great composition. The relationships, the hands, two skirts becoming one, the dance, hair flying, very naturally captured and presented. Did you intentionally catch them as they were facing away? That certainly suggests a different mood and draw than had you caught their faces and gazes. Really well done. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted April 22, 2008 Kelvin, thanks for commenting. Fred, it's good to hear from you. Thanks for your thoughts, I really appreciate it. I took quite a few shots that day. Some had full faces showing and some not. What attracted my eye was the colour and movement in the swirling blue skirts and the way they caught the light. In this shot I also liked the way the women's hair was swinging and swirling around, sort of repeating the movement of the skirts. It was all about the colour and movement. When I was watching them dance I found it almost hypnotic. The faces were secondary to me here. Warm regards. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 22, 2008 Thanks for the comment. I think it does add a degree of mystery which I always think dance contains. The way the two figures harmonize is what keeps grabbing me. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted October 30, 2008 Thank you for your interest in my work. It is always nice to know that my images are enjoyed. I also appreciate that you are trying to be upfront and honest about taking my image without permission. If you are a working artist who is showing your work then you must be well aware of the concept of plagerism. It is not a matter of not being able to resist taking it. That is theft. I have looked at your site and have seen the painting. It is not a real painting though, you have copied or traced my image exactly. I fit one on top of the other and found an exact match! If you wish to use my image you will have to compensate me. I do not want to talk about this in a public forum. So, I will e-mail you. Linda Davidson Link to comment
