In my opinion Dick, this is your very best. You have captured the essence of an early morning winter morning, he colours are superb & the lights from the approaching vehicle really add life to the image. Aren't we fortunate to live in a northern climate.Best Regards-Ross

Hello and thank you very much. School was closed this morning and the snow became much worse after I took this photo. You are right about living in the north. The snow can really be beautiful...and a lot of work:-). I appreciate your comment.

absolutely great. What does it for me especially are those two headlights in the distance. You were very wise to include them because it gives a beautiful and important balance. I do however think this is crying out to be converted into a contrasty b&w

Thank you very much! Your compliment means a lot to me. I did think about presenting this as B & W and I will probably try that, but I really liked the color of this, so I resisted the temptation.

My best to you,

Dick

This picture tells a story, Richard! You caught it all - mood, scenery, colors... Compliments and 'warm' regards from sunny Italy, El.

Thank you very much and for the greetings from Italy. I spent about 9 months there in the Navy. I'd love to make a return visit.

Wow, you were so lucky to be there at the right time! Or did you program this? The tone of the sky and the soft light from the lamps gently caressing the snow is just wonderful. The car approaching is what sets this picture to a higher level. First class work! All the best

Thank you! I live in a very small town. When the snow began on this morning I decided to take my camera on my drive to work. The timing paid off and I was lucky to capture this scene. I appreciate your viewing this and the kind comments.

Regards,

Dick
