Excellent portrait, Richard. The texture, details & light are fabulous.

I love the way that you have captured the amazing texture of this animal's skin and that look in it's eye is captivating. The soft perfect light that most of this animal is cast in is beautiful. If it where up to me, I would tone down the few sections of harsh light (especially the area around the animal's right ear) as I think they detract from the overall beauty of the image. This is purely my opinion though.

One of the most impactful images I have seen in a long time. It truly does look like you brought him into the studio for his portrait. The lighting is phenomenal and the detail is exquisite. Beautiful well lite eye and again a fantastic BG to make the subject pop. This one would win awards. Congrats!
