kate callahan 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Well ... can't say that I want to tickle them ... but this picture definitely does invoke a happy, carefree feeling that I love. Great job:) Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks for your time and thoughts Kate. I was a little hesitant to cut off her heal but the florecent shorts were a bit much. I think I like the square crop best anyway. Any thoughts? Link to comment

lesunsworth 0 Posted April 1, 2008 It is tempting! The square crop is perfect I think and loss of the heel of no import. For me, this is a delightful portrait. Link to comment
margaret1 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Actually, the cut off heel does work quite well. This is a great image. I love the DOF. I like the sand on her feet. It is such a fun shot.Congrats. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Everything about this image is perfect...! The smile is one that a close friend would give....Who likes a heal anyways? Juan Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks very much for taking the time to comment. I really love hearing feedback. Juan, your right, no one much likes a heal. Come to think of it, Gail, I would like a pedi too for the spring... Thanks again ;) Link to comment
imran 0 Posted April 11, 2008 great capture sonya and nice use of dof. the diagonal's in the feet flow into the carefree expression on the woman's face. well done! Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 9, 2008 Great image - shows that you are very thoughtful about your composition. Those grains of sand are critical for me in the 'story'. The only thing I may have done differently is to warm up the image (face, etc) a bit while minimally changing the color balance of the feet. I would use layer masks to do that. Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted September 9, 2008 Thank you very much Tony. Good suggestion and I think I will try it. Thanks for your time and thoughtful critique. Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted September 23, 2008 I love feet - and bringing them out in a perspective shot. Fun image. I like the framing effect of the hammock around her head. Link to comment
