I like it very much but it is not everyone's cup-of-tea. Glad you liked it. This was last year's Spring and never got the chance to post it before today. I am anxiously looking forward to Spring where I can take a few images like this. Not sure what it is like where you are but where they cleared my driveway and dumped the snow it is about 7 to 8 feet high. I am sure it will take weeks before the last vestiges of the great white north disappear and the Dutch bulbs take root in an uplifting manner. Best regards.

Tony, a glorious study in green, like how the eye is drawn to the one sharp element in the image. Just posted three spring images but they are in another world.Regards_Ross

A wonderfully refreshing image. I can't wait for the real arrival of spring myself. Nice post, really enjoyed it. rek

Thanks for the comments - appreciated. I wonder if it is differences in the green and out of focus foliage that forms 2 diagonal lines as a frame that adds appeal to it. I just know that when i took the image, the scene appealed to me.

Nice work - the tones are good as is the compostion and that one leaf in focus is stealing the show, rightly so...a dreamy spring like painting...I think your choice of border suits well too, thanks for sharing - kind regards, June.

Tony, this captures my attention and holds on. The composition and tones make this image beautiful to view. But the fern in its clarity - perfection in simplicity. Regards, liz

Totally sweet Tony! It could not be better. I even like the frame, although a little risky for some viewers taste! I would give this 11 for originallity.
