The Siblings

A pair of children that we happen to encounter on our journey along

the hills. They were walking home from school, wwe don't know how

long the distance they were walking. They live under harsh weather &

from their clothings, harsh living conditions too. But they look

contented to me, guess because there is no city temptations & they

are happy as they are.Thanks for viewing & feedback.

This is a wonderful portrait. . . I like the backlighting, the earnest expressions on the children's faces and their complemenary colored shirts.

very good capture of their facial expression. it's very hard to resist the temptions of modern "civilization", even you can it's still very diffcult to conquer the weakness of humanity. it's a long way to find the contentedness of mind. from your works i think you're on your way now. regards.

I like the contended expression on their faces,in spite of the difficult living conditions there.

I love the colors here and their ruddy cheeks, though there's a bit of redness in the corner of their right eyes--wondering about that... Nice portraits.

At first, I agreed with Biliana about the faces being quite dark. The more I look, the more I see how the darkness with just a hint of reflected light makes a statement. Children emerging and appearing out of nowhere. The unique light (and subject matter) makes this memorable.

Just a nice capture...health and contentment...what does the future hold for them?
