snapshooter 0 Posted March 30, 2008 I'd never seen fungi grow so big and so fast on such a relatively recent windfall. Nor had I ever seen the variations in colour. The title was a no brainer as that's what they looked like at first glance. About 13 to 14 inches, top to bottom. Hope you enjoy them. Link to comment

snapshooter 0 Posted March 30, 2008 Hi Christine. I just checked the exif file and it was Sept. 2006, and with a 3 megapixel Canon. I've seen many large pie sized ones, usually growing on top of large smooth stumps, but never anything like these shapes and colours.They must have been getting considerable nourishment from that tree.
