chicago: signs Red Arrow

Nice shot Doug! I often see such sights and even though I think about photographing them I seldom do. I think I only have one on my computer that I can find if I looked. Good idea to use a wide aperture to keep the background out of the image as much as possible.

Thanks, Shawn. That was certainly my intent with the aperture. Sometimes it works better than others, and I was pretty happy with the way this one came out.

You know Doug, these things are disappearing fast, in fact there was a arrow similar to this in a nearby place that was ready for restoration and it was stolen. I happened to get a few photos of it last summer. Perhaps I'll post it.
