katzpjs 50 Posted March 30, 2008 Nice shot Doug! I often see such sights and even though I think about photographing them I seldom do. I think I only have one on my computer that I can find if I looked. Good idea to use a wide aperture to keep the background out of the image as much as possible. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 30, 2008 Thanks, Shawn. That was certainly my intent with the aperture. Sometimes it works better than others, and I was pretty happy with the way this one came out. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 31, 2008 He DOES do color! I'm with Shawn. Doug, you shoot things that would never occur to me, and you do so successfully. You make me look at the stuff around me a bit differently.... Link to comment
Todd Kowalski 2 Posted March 31, 2008 You know Doug, these things are disappearing fast, in fact there was a arrow similar to this in a nearby place that was ready for restoration and it was stolen. I happened to get a few photos of it last summer. Perhaps I'll post it. Regards, Todd Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 31, 2008 I hope you do, Todd. We have to capture these things before they disappear. Link to comment

tonmestrom 4 Posted April 1, 2008 Doug like it too. Wouldn't it become stronger if you cloned out that building on the left? Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted April 1, 2008 It might, Ton. I hadn't thought of it. I'll give it a try and see how it looks. Thanks for the idea. Link to comment
