I find this a very well balanced image. Love the curve of the stem which leads the eye though the frame to the burst of color and the slighly unusual view showing the back of the flower rather than the face.

I'll hop on the bandwagon here in favour of the bloom placement within the frame and the curved stem which tends to lead a wandering eye back to the main show. The totally black background leaves no distractions from your subject and the soft light leaves no dark shadows to hide any details. The overall sharpness is icing on the cake. Nicely done! This is a very interesting and different angle that I think works great... Really like the curve that ends with that beautiful flower... Beautiful colors and light... Great composition and work on this shot....
