leo burkey 0 Posted March 27, 2008 Bryce canyon seems to be at it's best in the winter. The oranges, yellows, and reds against the white snow adds a separation that just doesn't exist any other time of the year. Your comments are always welcome. Link to comment
rbanfield 0 Posted March 27, 2008 Bryce in the winter, wow. Great orange in the rock formations and with the snow-capped rocks voila! Leo, this is a great capture and kudos for a job well done!...RAY Link to comment
laurentbaig 0 Posted March 27, 2008 I love Bryce in the winter, it's the only time I go. I've still yet to get a good 4x5 image from there. Nice comp on this one, Leo. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted March 28, 2008 First, the slightly diffused light is wonderful for this scene. And the color chord is really superb. I dont know why a Golden section is used less often than the thirds variant - works perfectly here. Your choice of camera point is well thought, excellent composition Link to comment
dacamera 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Beautiful contrast between the red rock and the white snow. THe snow ceratinly adds a new dimension to this wonderful place. Simon Link to comment

mike_stemberg 40 Posted April 3, 2008 What a joy it must be to witness the atmosphere and admire natures gift for our aesthetic senses ~ such as this vista. And you did one better. You shot it perfectly too. best wishes ~ mike Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted April 6, 2008 I may have seen pictures of this canyon, but this one is extremely beautiful because of the snow and the warm colours on the rock formations, against a dull coloured BG which makes them pop out of this well handled composition. Link to comment
paulina_jaskulska 0 Posted April 28, 2008 I couldn't get there, as routes we ought to use were still closed as winter season, so I missed this one. And looking at your photos regret that even more. :( Thank you for your visit in "my" Death Valley Leo. I like yours too. Regards. Paulina Link to comment
