Not only your technique, but also the way you direct the model adds to the overall vintage look. The hands, that's the key to make it look like a daguerrotype... don't you agree?

Overall I like what you've done. A beautiful model with expressive eyes just rivets the attention. On the constructive criticism side, I would offer the following: I would like to see the figure occupy more of the overall image. Cropping around her would do this nicely. I would also like to see more space below her feet/garment hem. It looks a little chopped as is. The effect is great, however. A very nice job. Congrats!
