sheryl_w__blue_mt._ 0 Posted March 27, 2008 good composition, Lesa... my favorite type of place to hang out...i've been spending alot of time in these types of places....I miss driving to Biloxi.... this is such a tragedy for the folks that make their living this way... if it's not the fuel prices, it's mother nature (not enough rain, affecting this industry, too- I see it everywhere) ... all the best... take care over there Link to comment

joanbn 0 Posted March 27, 2008 Beautiful skies and silhouettes. Is that the sun I see in the lower left corner. Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted March 27, 2008 Yes Joan--it is the setting sun. It was absolutely the last few seconds it was visible. Always good to hear from you... regards...LJ Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted March 28, 2008 A wonderful silhouette image Lesa, I never would have guessed that these are boats. I would have preferred to have the sun just a bit higher above the horizon but I'll take what I can get. Nice shot! Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Me too Shawn, but I was driving like a crazy women trying to get to this spot before the sun was gone, and this was absolutely the best shot I got. I got another similar shot from farther back, but have not posted yet. Check back soon. Regards...LJ Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Lesa, sorry for beeing late - I missed that one here. Amazing, wonderful - never seen the combination with industrial maschinery! Always see the cliche palm trees... Big hand of applause! Bravo, best regards, El. PS: no shrimps anymore there? Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted March 30, 2008 I keep going back and forth about the elevation of the sun. Mostly, I lean to liking it as is. I think were the sun higher it would steal too much attention. I really like the combination of the very warm colors with the sharp blackness of the silhouettes. A fine piece and worth the fast drive! Link to comment
