aginbyte 0 Posted March 23, 2008 ... almost like a detail from a painting by Monet, naturalistic and abstract at the same time. Great shot. Link to comment
maria_di_liegro 0 Posted March 23, 2008 What a beautiful, beautiful image! This stood out immediately. The colors are so fine and are kind of like an earthy collection of colors, only far, far better. This really is aesthetic and evocative. Regards, Maria Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted March 23, 2008 Thank you very much, Dennis. It is always a pleasure to have you drop by. Thank you, Maria. I have just visited your very nice portfolio. Marc G. suggested a higher degree of contrast than on the original, and so this is how this one came to be from the original (in the same folder). Even the original version had already been inverted, and some cloning had been done to achieve a bit more simplicity in the reflected tree trunks and branches. Otherwise the image would have looked upside down, exactly as it appeared in the creek, but not particularly appealing to anyone who wants a sense of looking at a single tree, reflected or otherwise. --Lannie Link to comment
