tonmestrom 4 Posted March 21, 2008 Doug like it. Wouldn't this be a perfect one for your experiment with that fifties look experiment? Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 21, 2008 Thanks, Ton. Yes, I am working on a colorized version. I will post it if I'm happy with the final product. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 21, 2008 I really like this ... the composition works nicely. I also like the curvy letters in "Coffee Shop" and the blocky letters in the other three words. Hey, Doug - can you consider a sort of "photo drop" folder so that I can find your most recent posts? I am not always online every day, and I feel like I miss some that you've posted if they're not on your front page... Thanks! :-) Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 21, 2008 Good thought, Lou Ann. I'll create that before I post again. Judging by today's snowy weather, I have a little time. Link to comment

steve b 0 Posted March 23, 2008 A familiar site that I have driven by many times, but never thought of taking a picture. Good eye. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 23, 2008 Thanks, Steve. This place is like a time warp in the middle of River North. I'm always surprised it's still there (that land has to be worth a fortune). Link to comment
jugenjury 0 Posted March 27, 2008 Doug, you really have an eye for the older styles and architecture. That's great. I'm sure this one will turn out really nice with your retro-coloring style. Nice job. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 28, 2008 I appreciate it, Mike. I'm still working on a retro color version. It's not going very well so far, but I'll keep at it and hopefully post it soon. Link to comment
