Interesting--cool...the half of a whole is done so skillfully, working with the subdued, cool tones of whites, setting a quiet disorienting mood and then-- dark red grabbing attention... the eye shut with deep shadow below, making this mysterious, surprising (as little girls would perhaps be giggling as they hid), and thus a little disturbing. Looks existential. Nice job and regards.

This is such a creative way of creating a portrait. I love the texture on the walls and cabinet. The little peeking child is so playful. Great work.
