bosshogg 4 Posted March 17, 2008 As you know, I know nothing of dance, but it does strike me as odd that the man is being supported by the woman. I like that. And, of course the lighting is not only dramatic but very pleasing. A beautiful image. Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted March 17, 2008 Pnina, another excellent one with great movement in one of the figures. I like the light very much. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted March 17, 2008 He is the one who scream? In despair? Nice action take on this dance segment that have a strong story element on its own. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 17, 2008 Alberto, thanks for all of them! Vladimir, for liking the LOP( nobody know that you think Line Of Photos....'-)) Dimitris, for youe visit and leading me to your work! Amal, glad to see you active and here, my friend Bob, thanks ! David, my dear, in life it is not always that women are supported by men.... and at the end you will have some experience in dance as well( at least in dance photography...lol) Roger, Thanks for liking the light, it is one of the most difficult problems in photographing dance. Cherlyn,I look for the human components in the dance, I connect better when I can find some life narrative in a choreography. Link to comment
tanyatruong 0 Posted March 17, 2008 Love how you capture the intense, life energy here. Please also send my admiration to the chorographer who understands the relationship about energy exchange between human beings very well. Warm regards, Tanya. Link to comment
armindo_lopes 1 Posted March 17, 2008 So beautiful! This is painting with light and in a great way. Congrats fot this terrific work. Regards. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted March 17, 2008 First off, congrats to the choreographer! I love your motion technique. He looks precariously perched and she is frantically struggling to hold him up...or down. just like life! :o) Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted March 18, 2008 Nice reversal of roles for a change in this dramatic and engrossing capture. Taking these types of pictures must be challenging Pnina and I applaud you for that. Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted March 18, 2008 This is a wonderful image with great lighting and a very nice amount of movement. I, too, and intrigued by the man being supported by the woman, and there is clearly much life energy here. What confuses me a bit is the title. If the man is screaming, I don't doubt you... you were there, but he looks to me like he's smiling, and his posture is relaxed (especially his arm), so I have trouble imagining a scream as much as one falling over laughing. Never the less, this is a fine addition to this series. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 18, 2008 Tanya and Joe, I have sent it to the choreographer, so he can read your appreciation, thanks for your comments. Armindo, thanks for your warn feedback, my friend. Adan,Dramatic it is,and I thank you for your warm words. Donna and Andrea, thanks both of you. David, thanks for your evaluation,I appreciate it, and every viewer can see in this what he feels. I upload another situation from that dance begining (that I did not think to upload,) but may help to understand the drama of rejection... Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted March 18, 2008 What is striking in your dance photos, Pnina, is that you convey the elegance and movement of the dance and dancers. Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted March 18, 2008 Thanks for uploading the additional image from this dance. I like it, too, and it does potentially lead one's thoughts in a different direction than what I first thought I saw. Just as it is in medicine, one is ill advised to ascribe too much meaning on the basis of limited information. I shall be more careful. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 18, 2008 David, I think that the fault is mine... as to give it a better context, this added photo should have been the first one.... But I thought that the others are better as an artistic form. I may upload it as the end of story.... ;-)) Thanks for commenting again. Link to comment
teresa.zafon 0 Posted March 18, 2008 I like the motion here and the light is superb. Really nice. Link to comment
