The Shade

Loved the shady light. From a fairly high vantage point, at sunset.

Hand held with a zoom lens set at about 170mm, 20th sec shutter speed,

all credit to shake reduction!! Advice and critiques welcome.

its a nice idea.. i love motorcycles and the "lone ranger" athmosphere in the picture. But, perhaps you could've got rid of the sidewalk right under the tree and bike, it somewhat takes away from that nice athmosphere the picture gives. The helmet somewhat steals from the picture as well because of its color imho.. Other than that, nice idea, nice capture, light its not bad either.

Thank you Ali. You're right about the sidewalk. I thought of cropping it and then totally forgot. As far as the helmet goes, I didn't really have a choice. I saw the shot and took it. Within a few seconds, a car had pulled in and parked right in front of the bike and ruined it. I had just been thinking of getting my tripod! Anyway, thanks for visiting!
