rob_duyser 0 Posted March 16, 2008 quite a special image Bill, are you scanning through your old negatives ;) graphically this is very sound, but I like most these different axes of communication... and all the aspects of the picture tell me most about the boy far left (deep melancholy), and all the thinks he will not do and his slightly older pier (or brother) will be doing (or in this case has probably done already) in his life. I like it very much, seems a shame not to take this photo into the darkroom and print it properly ;) .... just my thoughts, regards, rob . Link to comment
gerrymorgan 0 Posted June 27, 2009 A decisive moment indeed! Agreed about the diagonals and angles -- a very strong composition! Link to comment
borisbugan 0 Posted March 8, 2011 " When you are young, your potential is infinite. You might do anything, really. You might be Einstein. You might be DiMaggio. Then you get to an age where what you might be gives way to what you have been. You weren't Einstein. You weren't anything. That's a bad moment."Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) Link to comment
