Thank you both! The ratings system is imperfect. I try not to take them too personally. It seems that everyone gets to deal with the anonymous low raters. I especially enjoy the photographers who create artistic tributes to them and post them. It always helps to keep a sense of humor. I hope that neither of you get too many of those naughty raters.

Yes, the rating system. I made an experiment, I put the same photo in diferent

days and the rating was dramatic diferent :)

So, I can tell you for sure that your works in general are wonserful .

Thank you Floriana...not only for stopping by and leaving supportive feedback...but I am glad that you tried that experiment. I figured that with the vast time differences across the world of PN viewers it would balance out(as far as premium times to post photos for feedback.) I guess not. I would love to see your findings!

I too have tried Floriana's experiment....not to extensively...but she is right...The only reason I leave the rate box open is for people who don't have time to leave comments...

 

The leading line from the lower right corner...brings my eye to those...so young but...so wise eyes of this child...The soft light you chose works well for me...Maybe a hint more of fill light on the left side of the frame to show off those round cheeks a bit more...

 

 

You make images that people like...Know THAT.

 

This is another example...of your skill. What matters is the parents of this child appreciate what you have captured...It's been fun to watch your art evolve over the short time I have been here on P.nut...You continue to shoot because you continue to hear appreciation from clients, friends and family...because they know what I know...you have an eye and the heart to create.
