Marvin 4 Posted March 14, 2008 David, When I'm out to shoot flying birds I try to remember to give the exposure compensation about +2/3rds. Of course I often forget as I wander from subject to subject and then things get screwed up. Even with the extra 2/3rds I had to adjust the exposure in Photoshop. Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted March 14, 2008 Maybe u already know this, but there is a saying "shoot right" referring to the histogram. With those white clouds, u probably could go over 1 on exposure bias. Overexpose without clipping, because if you are underexposed and u have to bring up exposure in photoshop, you are magnifying noise. If u are overexposed and not clipped u can lower esposure in PS without a penalty. Link to comment
