Cedar Rail Fence Detail

Brrr, Len, this takes me back to winter and I am longing for spring:-) Yet, it's very neat; the snow has compactness and the logs let us peep through.

The composition is really very nice ... almost abstract. The snow is perfectly exposed, too, which is difficult!

Lovely. I am thinking that I would lighten the shadows just a tad.

You had to do a bit of digging to come to this old offering.  Thanks for that.  Good suggestion about the shadow detail.  I'll run it through my copy of PSE6 to see if I can do that without touching the (almost detail less) highlights. See link below.  It was a cloudy dull day if memory serves me.  YOU WERE RIGHT!  I like the rework much better.  Who said this forum wasn't beneficial?  :-)  Best, Len.
