Cremation

I know that the title may be provocative, but that is NOT my

intention. I simply could not think of a more apt title. In any case,

it is an Abstract, which invites the viewer to see whatever comes to mind.

 

Please let me know what you think of the image... and the title.

It's a great colour composition...and I think the title is quite apt. Why must anything associated with death be seen as lacking in beauty? I think you'll find that most artists don't think that way.

As a point of possible interest, the `smoke' is from incense photographed in color and then heavily manipulated.

 

The background was originally a pastel colored brick wall segment that I shot for use as a background tile. It was altered with several filters in PSP X2.
