I like the diagonal lines created in this version.

Lou Ann, I think that you did a great series with this memorial,the diagonal direction and the light play are very well composed!A good collection no question.

Great (and powerful) image. I wonder how it would look if you shot the 'happy birthday' baloon with this composition, although my guess is that it must have been hard to fill up the frame with the chairs. I think a color version would work here as well (seeing that there are no vivid shadows).
