mwtphoto 0 Posted March 11, 2008 very nice shot. i like the way both the light part of the path and the meandering stream lead your eye to the lone subject. Link to comment
garry_young1 1 Posted March 11, 2008 Oooh!!! This is amazing. I love the light, even to the backlighting of the flowers on the top left tree. I love the composition, with the lone figure in the distance, and the road leading there while so aptly framed. I could look at this for a long time! Thanks for sharing Milena. Link to comment

jessegonzalez 0 Posted March 12, 2008 There is something about this photo I cannot put my finger on it. I do like the mood, gloomy sort of. But all in all a great photo you have here. Cheers JG Link to comment
garry_young1 1 Posted March 14, 2008 Hi Milena. I find myself coming back to this photo again. I think there are a few things that might/might not have been deliberate, but that are really intriguing. The road seems to be visible in disappearing off in a left curve in the distance, giving great depth to the photo. First impressions put the person in the background, but further viewing places him in the middle ground. I like how the longer I look, the more I feel. The light just beyond him that causes him to be backlit gives a sense of openness to the road at that point, but beyond him and here where the viewer stands it seems to close down, and this gives a sense of transition to the person's stage in his walk. I am probably reading far too much into this shot, but I think that the potential meaning to the eye of the beholder is what makes any photo great to that viewer. Again, I love this photo!
