WOW this is from the dark age .Impressive composition Joe ,I like the high rise effect of the tower and the boiling bloodbath fresh on the left and disintegrating on the right. Really great job , can't use 7 PN rules-;(

Impressive work again! Love the sanguinary feel of the sky and the morbid atmosphere! Just one suggestion though; IMO the skull on the bottom right could be perched a little higher on the hillock and sticking up against the sky. That's all. :)

This is way cool and completely awesome! Man, you scare the hell out of me; I think those long Illinois winters do something to you guys. Jiminy Christmas this is so incredibly creative. I really love your color palette too. You've a career in FX ahead of you, my friend. Superb! Cheers! Chris

Just gotta say, that the three photos that you used in your composite are pretty terrific in their own right. Your PS skills are very impressive, Amigo! Cheers! Chris

This image is most significant to me because a) it is the first digital creation that I actually had a plan for and then did and 2) I used only images that I took to create and paint the effects. The tower was shot with a wide angle for distortion but I still used the warp tool to add to the effect. The landscape was used by cloning pieces of the hill from the lake. The sky and red glow all came from the red sky , of course.

Bartosz: Thanks ! Cool game too.

Doug: I appreciate your visit.

alina: Really the one inspired by your tower. I just created the house version first.Thanks.

Ruud: Thank you my friend.

cherlyn: I keep trying. Thanks!

vamsi: I agree with you 100%. I am actually going to do that and originally intended to, but it will take 10 minutes of re-working and I was too lazy :o) Thanks.

PDE: Thanks you for your kind words!

Darren: Again, your suggestions are always a big help. Thank you brotha.

Phos: Me too! Thanks.

mehmet: Believe it or not, you also inspired this creation ( and the house)with your wide angle images. Thanks!

Jim: Thanks for stopping by !

Chris: I'm not scarey, I'm a geek, okay? I play dungeons and dragons . The images in my DnD books always looked cool. And don't forget all the Conan stories I read:o) BTW, those images are of Lake Florence and a stream near Evolution Lake in King's Canyon. Thanks a lot for your very thoughtful comments!

Wow Joseph! Inspiring! I'm just starting into the realm of planning shots then shooting them. Someday I hope to get to your level of planning dreams (or nightmares as the case may be) then making them appear. Well done!

Superb fantasy shot, Joseph. I think I would have preferred it without the skulls which, for me, are a bit of overkill - personal taste. Wnderful art work.
