marlabmarrs 0 Posted March 9, 2008 Any ideas how how to improve at taking self portraits? Link to comment
mhphoto 0 Posted March 9, 2008 I do a lot of that. It's very hard actually. I either use the self timer on the camera or I use an infrared remote. The remote battery runs out pretty quickly though. A mirror helps me get the pose and expression just right. Link to comment
dbcooper 0 Posted March 9, 2008 A fresh perspective, and nicely composed for a 'grab' shot. Slightly overexposed, but the color is good. Fresh and appealing. I checked out your portfolio as well. You have a careful and natural eye for composition, a creative way of looking at things, and an experimenter's curiosity. You have a way of not just getting images, but getting across what you feel about your subjects. In short - you have talent, big time. Please keep up the good work, and keep learning. You can be one of the greats if you want to. Link to comment
jean-louis 5 Posted March 10, 2008 no realy aesthetically perfect (because flash and contrast)but angle and composition (eyes and background) are intersting. this portrait isn't your best, yet your are a good photographer. for your probleme of camera (choice) the canon 350/400 rebel Xt/Xti is intersting for the game lens and accessorys, low price, burden(weight).
