peter_langfelder 3 Posted April 23, 2002 Is the hill and snowy slope in the foreground too prominent? Do youlike the composition? Thanks for looking and all comments! Link to comment
j._scott_schrader 0 Posted April 23, 2002 I don't think the hill and snowy mountain are too prominent at all. They add to the feeling of depth that the photograph has. I don't believe it would be nearly as effective without them. Nice shot, the layering is well seen and photographed. Nice Image! Link to comment
chjohnson 0 Posted April 23, 2002 Definitely not too prominent. Offers a nice balance with the pale sky. Nice weaving of layers and different shades. Great composition and nice exposure. Link to comment
amy_wilkerson 0 Posted April 23, 2002 I'll be the one to disagree I guess...I think this image would have more impact if the foreground details were burned out. It allows the eye to focus on the lovely softness of the clouds in the background. Link to comment
marco_vargas 0 Posted April 23, 2002 foreground mountain is not promminent at all, but i found some blurry spots on it...? this kind of landscapes are usually shot at the closest lens aperture to maximize DOF. i really like the misty mountains on the background and the sense of deep, also the low contrast colors of the sky. beautiful image. mvc Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted April 24, 2002 I like the layered effect. It is really a beautiful photo. The exposure was well handled to capture the details in the dark mountainside and not lose the details in the lighter sky. Good job! Link to comment
