Mind The Gap Between The Train And The Platform. Please Stand Clear Of The Doors

if any. This is the second photo of a serie of 3. The first one has

the colors of the train leaving, but I wanted to try one without the

train, and with 2 large black canvas/framing to amplify the notion

of "gap".

You spoiled me with the first one, Loic, to the point where I feel deeply that this one is missing context. Had you submitted ONLY this one, perhaps my reaction would be quite different.

 

Keep in mind that I am human to the extreme, having learned and inherited possibly the WORST characteristics mankind has to offer. My opinion is definitely opinionated ;)

Hi Alberta, I agree that this one is missing context. Though the context of the first one was rather abstract, caused by the movement, which did not satisfy me completely. Since I have a few original shots with and without train, with and without rails in my WIP folder (not uploaded), I will still continue to work, and work and rework on all them. And then I will make my mind on if the first one was really THE one (probably yes...). Don't change and remain human to the extreme ;) Cheers, Loic

I came back because I read your reply and looking once again I have another "take" on this version. It's very Orwell - Nineteen Eighty-Four - Big Brother. So even out of context, I now think it has merit. Just shows that one should mull over one's thoughts a bit before babbling on ;)
