Meir may have a point with his critique but then there goes your artistic license. :-) I like the colour treatment of the clothes and of the wall here. Wouldn't think of doing it myself, too far outside the box for me but you've made a success of it. As in all portraits treatment of the main element, the face, is most important and since I prefer B&W in portraiture it works for me. The high contrast & gritty grain of the shadow area gives this subject a 'tough guy' look. Check out Meir's offerings. Seems to me he speaks from knowledge. Best, LM. Link to comment
