aepelbacher 0 Posted March 7, 2008 More from the Oklahoma City National Memorial. I was really captivated with the meaning behind the chairs, as well as the photographic potential. I am positive that I will go back there again someday and shoot these chairs more... Your thoughts on this composition? Link to comment
srr 0 Posted March 7, 2008 I like this one very well, more than the wide color version I saw (but did not rate) moments ago. Link to comment
mike_stemberg 40 Posted March 7, 2008 I feel this is good framing and composition. There are just enough chairs in the frame to elicit a feeling of orderliness, design, space, uniformity and balance. I did think about the edge of the chair-back on the left of the frame, and I think you did well to include it as it is. It kind of centres and balances the frame vertically too. Great shot! aepelbacher 0 Posted March 7, 2008 Thanks, guys - Mike, I have about a hundred shots from here where I was trying to get a "good" composition. It was really difficult with the way the chairs were arranged (actually, although in rows according to the floors of the building, they were not necessarily in regular columns....) It was almost impossible to get a certain number of chairs in a good composition and not have a piece of another in an edge of the view that I would have wanted to "get rid of". Link to comment
