The Moment you've chosen gives me shivers !

What a Depth and Ambiguity...

... I like the Brain and Eye coordination in You ;)

Please send my regards to Choreographer of the piece... from this one split of a second I see her (?) mind and soul.

somehow I hear something reseambling Stravinsky in background... :)

Amazingly... slow shutter adds on an Drama of the Moment.

This is the Type of shot I would love to have on my wall...

Janusz, thanks for connecting so strongly to it, when I see the choreographer I will tell him( its a man)...thanks for your evaluation.

Good sense of tension in this. Slight motion blur is very effective in conveying the sense of ongoing movement.

Les and Laurent, Thank you both.

I connect to a dance when I can interpret human life stories in the movements.

The blur and lighting give the impression (particularly around the feet) as if they were three parts to one soul or three souls intersecting almost fused. Emerging from the shadows--death, love, desertion, regret (?)

Strong and emotional capture that feels like a dream. The softness is quite appealing and the "triangular" layout is intriguing.

Excellent capture, Pnina. Quite interesting b/w scene and atmosphere, with very good light and contrast. Good shot! Regards!

The lighting suggests that the boundaries between these three figures is dissolving. They appear almost fused together. Another intense psychological drama.

Donna and Jeff, both of you hit the nail with the word " fused together" thats what was my feeling of three that are like one, so many interpretations possible...

Adam, three edges of a triangle....

David, your support and feedback!

Thanks , your point of view are strengthening my own feelings.

This is a very moving image for me. My first, and very strong impression is that the woman standing is a part of the woman lying with a man. He has died, or is dying, she is with him and moving away all at once. This is reinforced by the slight difference in sharpness between the standing figure and the less focused figures on the ground. There is also a very helpful lighting difference, with the standing figure more brightly lit and the ones on the ground fading into the dark.

There's a marvelous, touching and very moving story here, that you've not only captured, but brought out so well with your use of DoF, focus and light. A masterful piece of work IMHO.

Amal and Adela, thanks for the feedback.

David, Thanks for an interesting evaluation.! When I see, and photo a dance, my interpretation and creation are always very personal, and in most cases does not follow the line of thought of the choreographer.

I think that after uploading a photo, it has its own life, and viewers interpret it with what they are bringing with them while evaluating the given photo, I mean culture, life experience, general knowledge , art history, etc.

That is the interesting part I think, to know what my creation is doing ( or not..)to the feelings, thinking, helping advice if needed ,of the viewers.

Not once, I have accepted wonderful help from comments to better a photo , and that is for me the good way for progress, and the result of giving and getting evaluations.

We all bring all our knowledge and experiences... baggage, if you will, to looking at and reacting to an image. I certainly agree how others react often provides much to learn, and I think the mark of good art is its ability to stimulate thoughts, feelings and reactions in the viewers. "Talking" with each other about such things is a major part of what makes PN the wonderful place and experience it is. To borrow from Dennis, who I now know thanks to you, "Dialogue, on the other hand, is the stuff of life."

I agree with you, and I also think that dialogue is THE important ellement at a site like PN in order to learn , to hear other points of view, thinking, and friendship!

well captured Pnina....I see separation, jealousy, hurt, maybe independence or a search for identity, but also an emotional attachment- loyalty ... love the lighting and choice of bw-greytones... warm regards
