alberto_quintal 2 Posted March 5, 2008 Excelente, Gerardo, me gusta mucho el grano, la calidad de los tonos piel y la fantastica ilumincion. Saludos. Alberto Link to comment
c brake 0 Posted March 6, 2008 The image has a lot of color noise, makes me think you had to do a lot of exposure manipulation to save this image. Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Sorry, Brake, but wrong think. This image is a digital simulation of development process crossover. The grain --color noise-- is a experiment added, to be seen whether the grain works best in color or monochrome. Original is 800 ISO. The photo was taken at the same time, place and circumstances of light that another picture: http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7022478 Compare the grain and sharpness of the two images. c brake 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Ok, that's cool. Experimentation is good. I just didn't know if you were trying to save an underexposed image or not. I maybe should have gone on to talk more about bracketing, etc. But after looking at your portfolio briefly, I think you probably already know about that. No offense intended. Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Ok, Brake. I do not feel offended, it was only clarifying the circumstances. The truth is that the outcome of this picture may seem experimental what you say: an attempt to save a underexposed image. Thanks for your interest in my work. Greetings. ("Bracketing", in Spanish it is said "ahorquillado". I know this technique perfectly) Link to comment
