marcogarrone 0 Posted March 4, 2008 I'm not enough of an expert to offer a technical comment but this picture, as the similar ones in the folder is just mesmerizing. It remind a Magritte canvas, the trees are a sort of metaphysical presence, in this stark environment, and a sense of solitude looming... wel it might not uplift your mood, but its enchanting. pure art. warmly, Marco Link to comment
awhitt99 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Thanks so much for your kind words. I must say that when I set out to do these images, I did so intuitively and so did not create them with a specific meaning in mind. I think it is wonderful to hear someone look for something deeper, and see what kind of response it solicits. Thank you Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted March 6, 2008 Allison, the symmetry is fantastic here. The branch, on the first tree, that almost touches the ground makes this a wonderful image!! I love your point of view and the water backdrop is a delight as it fades to white. Excellent work! Doug Link to comment
pduffy1 1 Posted March 18, 2008 A great image with an abstract quality of isolation. Your attention to detail is phenomenal. I love the darkening of the edges. Always nice to see what you are up to ! Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted May 29, 2008 This is good stuff! Terrific composition and the black and white conversion is just right. My only nit is that I'd like a touch of space between the left edge and the branches of the left-hand tree. The vignetting is a good touch too. Fabulous work, Allison. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
