aepelbacher 0 Posted March 2, 2008 I was inspired by Linda McLellan (I am often inspired by Linda McLellan!) to get out and shoot at a local playground. There were fewer children around this playground than there were at Linda's ... but the weather conditions were a bit different, too. :-) My focus wasn't so philosophical as Linda's. I was looking to shoot shadows and the contours in the snow ... but ended up finding great shadows on the snow, and not many contours. Thoughts? Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted March 3, 2008 This one is my favorite of the series, simply because it is the most abstract. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Very nice. The focus kind of messes with my eyes, but I don't mean that in a negative way. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Hmmm ... that's an idea. I probably won't try it ... the more I look at this image, the more disturbing it is to my eye. The lines make me nuts. If you want to try a square crop, go right ahead. I'm off to work on a B&W for you on the yellow slide one...... :-) Link to comment
cycler48 8 Posted March 4, 2008 I briefly looked at this image yesterday but felt I needed to get some Dramamine on board to fully appreciate it. It sure messes with my equilibrium ... I'm sure it's due to the crossing line pattern and the fact that the shadow lines are in focus whereas the green posts aren't. You certainly created an odd effect with this. Good work.
