Thanks Monte, that's one of my favorite parts of this scene. It's always interesting watching a parent raise their young, at least it is for me.

Such a cute capture. I would bump up the contrast a tad to bring the main subject out of the background. But, otherwise, fine capture.

The oldest association is family and this is so well expressed here. Nice.

Folks, thanks for the kind words. Emmanuel, I actually did increase the contrast quite a bit already (selectively), but... well, their part of their defense is that they try to blend in :) It's easier to see when you make it LARGE - this is one of those images that just doesn't work so well in a small size.

 

I had an even bigger challenge with the 3 cheetahs in a row (entitled 3 of a Kind in the Kenya Cats portfolio).
